I can hardly wait.

I'm still sick...trying to rest to get better...

Anndd I just purchased tickets to see Sinbad on July 26th.

During a much anticipated birthday visit to see my non-twin grandbabies Azalea and Andrea - Gordy, Guy and I will get to see Sinbad too.

Ohhh my gosh - I am so excited.

On another note - Joe bought his own Bible today - when asked if he likes it - his comment was - 'Someone named Billy Graham recommends it.'

~ Ice Road Truckers~

Yup - that's right. Ice Road Truckers is beginning Season 2. This show is so coollll - especially if you are married to a trucker 'at heart'.

Last season highlighted men that drove the 'ice roads' in Canada - hauling supplies into diamond mines - driving across roads that were literally iced over lakes. The driving season is only 8 - 10 weeks - when the ice thaws...there is no more road.

It features men that have driven these roads for 20 or more years and also rookies that are in their first season...if they finish. Gordy always comments: 'I could do that - in a minute.'

Our favorites are Hugh and Alex...

It's intense. But this season - the drivers are 100's of miles north in Canada - and are driving over frozen OCEAN!!! Holy Cow!!!

I love watching shows that make me think...and learn something new...

Tune into The History Channel on Sunday nights - it will bring a cool end to long hot summer days.
