What a difference a year makes!

My last year has been a blur. A rush to this and that - never fully engaged in the events, conversations and people. As New Year's Day approached - I was praying for a break. A break in the fast pace to same place I started from. Working hard all day - to hit the pillow, to just get up again in a few short hours and do the same work...rushing, rushing, rushing. I felt like I was a heart beat away from a heart attack many days. Then, as the New Year approached, my husband lost his job... WHAT?!?!

Ugh ~

I wrote on this blog OVER A YEAR AGO, about my passion to watch 'House Hunters International'. That was my 20 minute vacation, to oooh and aaahh over warm sandy beaches, palm trees and relaxing times. I have a friend that owns a condo in Maui, she has been encouraging us to 'come on over'...

I'm thankful for Rebecca's, in passing, comment to look up www.travelzoo.com for tickets to Maui as she found a slamming deal on tickets to New Zealand, that included a lay over in Fiji (What?!). I found tickets out of Portland for $280 R/T...and it was 'Here today, gone to Maui'



We had our own 'House Hunters International' experience. I found my smile, my family and rest. So did Gordy.




Sooo, now with my resolve to NOT WORK SO MUCH!!!, and to get back to doing the things that I loved, and being with the ones I love, maybe it won't take me a year for another blog post ~

I love my life, I love my family, I love my job and I love Jesus.
